NCAA Division 1-A Playoffs

College Football Playoff

- 16 team tournament, just like 1-AA

- BCS conferences get champion into the playoff (ACC, Big East, Big 10, Big 12, SEC, Pac 10)

- At least one mid-major conference selection each season (MAC, Sun Belt, Mtn West, WAC)

- An independant must be in the top 16 (I'm looking your way Notre Dame)

- Will be selected by a committee, just like the NCAA Basketball Tournament

- First round games will be played at the top seeds home stadium

- Quarterfinal (2nd round) game will be played at a neutral field decided on by the NCAA (Between the two schools)

- Regions could be developed as well, if need be
